Photos from day 3 in Berlin

Today was a more relaxed pace; we had a bit of a lay-in in the morning, and started off the day with face-melting Curry Wurst for lunch with Marek. It looks benign in the picture, but it is torturous and painful. From there we toured with Marek through some of the last artist squats and buildings that still carry evidence of the Second World War. After, we had tea with Marek and his lovely wife, Manuela. We then went out for dinner at White Trash Fast Food, which is an event in itself (enjoy the picture of the octopus burger).

  1. Hi Ben,
I read about you in the EMC newspaper that you are going to Art Stays in Sovenija.(also found out about your new blog too)Congratulations for being selected for the Art Stays. It sounds like a cool experience.
...and looking at your blog, it seems you are having some more cool experiences in Berlin. I visited there before the wall came down, back when i was in grade 11...eeek a long time ago. It was like night and day then the difference between east and west Berlin...east being dark and scary and west being bright and interesting.
Hope you dont mind if i add your blog to my blogroll.
    Have a nice holiday.
